Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know how much value I have built up in my home?
Properties will be valued on an annual basis by qualified, independent, professional valuers. If you have availed of the option to purchase this information will be available to you on request.
What happens if I decide not to buy?
You are under no obligation to exercise your purchase option. However, if you do not exercise your option during years 6 and 7 it will expire.
What happens if the value of my home does not increase at all over the seven years or falls in value?
You can continue to rent as set out in the Lease Agreement. If the value of the property falls, this does not benefit you as you cannot buy the property below the original market value as set out in your purchase option.
Does the rent or a portion of the rental payment go towards the deposit on the property?
No.
How often are the market rents assessed?

The rents will be assessed in line with the current MTR and RTB guidelines.

The Arizun Mortgage Debt Resolution Scheme can only be applied to an individual home once the Arizun Funds have acquired a portfolio of mortgages from a European financial institution which includes the mortgage currently held over the individual home. Arizun cannot guarantee that any individual home or homeowner will be allowed access to the Arizun Mortgage Debt Resolution Scheme, but if you like our programme let us and your bank know about your interest.
